General Description: The Tan delta Tester specified here is capable of performing widerange of tests as follows.1. Change of capacitance values and Tan delta due to variation of voltage,temperature, and other conditions like humidity, pressure, vibrations etc.3. Dielectric Constant of the Insulating material4. Zero voltage interlock and external interlock are includedDesign and Construction:The Tan delta Tester is made in two modules.HV Power Source with Control PanelSchering Bridge.The modular construction has the advantages like easy portability and low noise pickup.The HV power source incorporates double shielded low leakage transformer, dimmer stat, Test mode selector switch and other associated components like circuit breaker, digital KV meter, digital milli-ammeter, and various indication lamps. The dimmer stat is supplying the primary of the high voltage transformer top produce 0-12 KV test voltage.
